Empire Earth (2001)
Empire Earth is a classic, base-building, resource-gathering, real-time strategy game. It is one of the most popular RTS games, as well as Age of Empires. Empire Earth covers a wide span of human history, from the Prehistoric Age to the Nano Age. The expansion pack also adds the Space Age epoch.
Empire Earth has been one of my most favourite computer games of all time. Through it's LAN networking, and low spec requirements, I have enjoyed hours of LAN Multiplayer matches with close friends and family. It's Scenario Editor has allowed me to make personal modifications, such as using triggers and effects to increase the total population count.
Official Solo Campaigns
The game offers five official solo single player campaigns:
- Learning Campaign --- teaching how to play the game
- Greek Campaign --- the Greeks from Prehistoric Age to Bronze Age
- English Campaign --- from Middle Age to Industrial Age
- German Campaign --- from Industrial Age to World War II
- Russian Campaign --- from Modern Age to Nano Age.
The official expanison pack - Empire Earth: The Art of Conquest (2002) - gave us three official solo single player campaigns:
- Roman Campaign --- taking place in the Dark Age
- Pacific Campaign --- portraying United States Pacific World War II
- Asian Campaign --- Asian 23th century Mars from Digital to Space Age
I have had very memorable memories throughout all the official campaigns. Some prime moments have been throughout the Greeks campaign and German campaign.
Unofficial Solo Campaigns
- 'Light of the Eternal City - Italian Campaign' --- created by SSSI_Eggman. It's a 20th Anniversary Empire Earth Campaign, taking place on the Italian Peninsula. From the Bronze Age to the 21st Century.
